Dementia Care Collaborative – This program offered through Mass General Hospital (MGH) provides educational and support opportunities for those caring for someone with dementia; available for patients of MGH as well as those in the community at large.

Embodied Labs – Virtual reality modules on a wide range of medical conditions (including dementia) to explore another person’s lived experience as a way to better connect, engage, and relate. (Note: There may be a cost associated with this program.)

Powerful Tools for Caregivers – A six-week educational series led by trained facilitators to help caregivers develop skills and confidence to better care for themselves while caring for people with long-term health conditions. Weekly topics include stress reduction, communication, and caregiving decisions. Available in English, French, Korean, and Spanish via virtual or in-person platforms.

The Savvy Caregiver – This six-session training is designed for caregivers who assist family members or friends with dementia. Attendees can expect to increase their skills and knowledge of caregiving, understand the dementia disease process and its progressive cognitive losses, gain confidence to effectively address dementia behaviors, learn how to increase family and friend engagement, and reduce the impacts of caregiving on themselves. The course is free to all caregivers but requires registration.
